Submit A Project  

BXWI will gladly advertise your project for you at no cost. We publish a Nightly Newsletter, we have an Online Plan Room and we send out a daily email notifications of new projects received to our members. Your projects will not only be listed in all three sources, but will also be scanned/uploaded and hosted for the duration of the bidding process for you at no additional fee.

 By submitting your projects to Builders Exchange of Wisconsin you are utilizing the most effective way to advertise your project! The Builders Exchange of Wisconsin is a part of the Online Plan Service Network, a network of 5 Builders Exchanges and Planrooms that have banded together to offer plans and specs online. Currently we have over 400 users that can access jobs throughout the greater Wisconsin area.

BXWI will share the project within our Online and Physical Planroom(s).

You save time, money and help the environment by sending the job rather than printing and shipping multiple sets of plans to the physical Planrooms.

Additionally you reach contractors and suppliers throughout the state!

If you would like to take advantage of this great opportunity for your projects to reach more subcontractors and suppliers just provide the following to BXWI.

• A complete set of bid documents (plans, specifications and addenda.) either a paper version or electronic.
• If you are a General Contractor submitting plans please provide your Invitation to Bid (including project title, bid date/ time, location, and trades requested).
• Any electronic plans need to be given in the following format: specs in PDF and drawing sheets in TIF. (We do have the ability to convert PDF drawing sheets to TIF in-house if that is their original format)

** Our Online Plan Room utilizes estimating software that can not be used if the drawing sheets are not in a TIF format. **

We do the rest for you. There is a very quick turnaround as to when plans are received and when they are available online. Addenda are posted the same day as received. Any projects information received by 12 PM will be posted by the following day. Project information is posted daily to our Online Planroom and in our Daily Email Notification. BXWI can also provide to you a list of companies that have viewed your project online upon request.

Do you have a project that you do not want advertised but still have a need to provide access to the documents to your subcontractors and suppliers??

For a minimal fee of $25 per plan and spec book, we are able to scan and post your project to a private Online Planroom with all of the same functions as BXWI’s Online Planroom such as Estimating Tools, Activity Lists, spec book search, etc.), in which we will provide you with an internet link for you to distribute to who you want to look at the documents. It is as easy as 1-2-3.

Our project focus is centered on the State of Wisconsin, Upper Michigan, Eastern Minnesota and 30 counties just south of Wisconsin in Illinois and Iowa. We look forward to working with you. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Exchange.
